Brittany’s years of experience in assistant roles allowed her to see what was missing from the traditional placement process. This critical understanding is what she turns to every day, working with Fortune 1000 companies & leaders, high-profile early-stage businesses, ultra-high-net-worth families, and everyone in between. Brittany’s specialty lies within the high-net-worth family office industry, where she has advised and worked with some of the most prominent family offices across The United States. Brittany has been quoted in leading publications such as The Financial Times and Forbes as an expert in the recruiting sector. She is also a trusted partner to a top global wealth management firm, where she acts as a resource to help build family office teams & source domestic staff. In her spare time, Brittany volunteers with Heart of Los Angeles as a mentor to youth in LA. Through this program, she helps provide guidance to college students who are in search of their dream career path. Brittany is a Los Angeles native where she currently resides with her husband Derek and two Maltese dogs, Bentley & Teddy.

Nicole Musselman-Dayan is Co-Founder of Pocketbook Agency. Nicole’s creative and distinguished career spans over 20 years, from coast to coast. A native Virginian, her innate love of people and family-oriented approach to her trade has allowed her to organically transition her fundamental values into a renowned business model built on commitment and loyalty.

She is devoted to fostering strong and lasting relationships, which are the foundation for a successful business. This philosophy allows her to recruit and place extraordinary talent with a diverse list of esteemed clients in the Los Angeles area and nationwide.

Her wealth of experience stems from every corner of the entertainment industry, from film and TV to radio and music production. Holding degrees in both Business and Theatre Arts, she has cultivated an acute sensibility immersing herself in the culture of both client and candidate. Her one-of-a-kind perspective and open-minded approach have successfully led her through numerous executive-level positions at a range of established companies throughout the industry.

With this inside-out study of the staffing industry and her personal client-centered approach, she has re-defined the business relationship. Her clients trust her first-rate reputation. Nicole truly knows what drives both candidate and client, ensuring a win-win result. Her pledge is, “Only the best for the best”.

Meet the Team

Sarah Smith, started her recruiting career at a sales & marketing firm before joining Pocketbook Agency (as their first employee!). As a Senior Recruiter, she has worked with clients in various industries and has successfully placed candidates both at corporate offices and high-net-worth family offices across the US. Sarah brings a diverse range of work experience to the team and strongly believes her background in sales, marketing, and finance has been the key that has molded her unique recruiting skills. She has an extremely keen approach and understanding of both her clients’ and candidates’ needs and has cultivated long-term interpersonal relationships with both, thus, resulting in a growing referral-based clientele. Outside of work, you can find Sarah watching sports and supporting Los Angeles teams at Crypto.com Arena or Chavez Ravine. As an avid music enthusiast, she loves finding new music from underground artists/bands and enjoys sharing them with her loved ones by making them curated playlists!

Elle Hall, is a Senior Recruiter who comes from a corporate background which provided her with a high level of training in business operations and company growth. After her time with a large corporate staffing firm, she happily made the move to Pocketbook Agency (as their second employee!), as we are more focused on quality and not quantity. Elle focuses on taking time to get to know the client’s needs and the candidate’s desires to ensure the best long-term match. Her motto is ‘Never over-promise, but always over-deliver.’ She believes that communication is the key to success. Within Pocketbook Agency, Elle aids in employee training, and business development, along with system and process implementation for multiple functions of the company. She has applied her corporate knowledge to a more boutique company, which has given way to increased efficiency and production. When not in the office, you can always catch her in the kitchen creating her next best recipe and talking to her plant babies

Alizabeth Adkins, Originally from Maine, Alizabeth studied marketing communications on the East Coast before relocating to Los Angeles where she started her career in staffing. Prior to joining Pocketbook Agency as a Senior Recruiter, Alizabeth specialized in domestic placements for HNW and UHNW families across the US and globally. Alizabeth’s background in marketing and luxury hospitality gave her the foundation needed to work with both clients and candidates in order to build relationships and create the most sustainable, long-lasting placements. In her free time, you can find her hiking, eating tacos, and hanging with her dog, Rumi.

Karli Knott, was born and raised in Seal Beach, CA. Karli attended Santa Barbara City College studying Art Studio and Art History, before attending FIDM where she majored in Merchandising & Marketing. Karli works as a Recruitment Specialist at Pocketbook Agency and has spent most of her career in creative staffing, assisting previously for events and entertainment roles. She is drawn to recruiting because of the people and loves working closely with candidates to be a resource in finding their next dream job.  In her free time, Karli enjoys practicing her hobbies in photography and ceramics as well as visiting museums and art exhibits or hanging out with her cat, Disko.

Whitney Whitehead, is a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the Pocketbook team. Before joining the Pocketbook Agency, she began her career as an Executive Assistant at one of the top talent agencies in Los Angeles. She grew up in Michigan and attended Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois, where she studied Marketing and was a collegiate athlete. Her favorite part of recruiting is working closely with candidates to help them find their dream jobs. In her free time, she enjoys exploring her new city, trying different restaurants, and spending time at the beach.

Taylor A-Clayton, is a Talent Acquisition Specialist with the Pocketbook Team where she assists candidates with their job search journey, while supporting the Co-Founder with her day-to-day. Taylor’s background consists of heavy Executive Assistant and Coordinator experience in the medical field, which grew her appreciation for health, wellness, and the collaborative nature of her community. Her greatest strength is fostering healthy and mutually beneficial relationships between clients and candidates. She prides herself in her work, and enjoys seeing those around her meet their fullest potential in their careers. When Taylor is not working at the Pocketbook, you can find her volunteering at a local free clinic, or discovering new ways to educate her community on preventative care.

Carly Glick, is a Recruitment Coordinator with the Pocketbook team. Prior to joining Pocketbook, she worked at a marketing agency as the CEO’s Executive Assistant. After hiring an intern 2 months into her job she became the sole recruiter of the company hiring marketing professionals, data scientists, administrative assistants and sales people. She developed a passion for recruiting and prides herself on the bonds she forms with candidates. Carly was born and raised in Los Angeles and has a deep love for the Dodgers. In her free time, if she isn’t watching a baseball game Carly is working out, cooking, or spending time with her family and friends.

Elyssa Maloney, is a Recruitment Coordinator and Southern California native with an established background in childcare and talent acquisition, years of sales experience, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. With the birth of her son, stepped away from specific career options, but remained actively involved with mommy groups and child enrichment activities. She returned to the workforce so that she can continue to grow, applying not just her years of work experience to situations, but also the many lessons she has learned from her son. Elyssa is passionate about working with clients, her goal is always to do her best and surpass their expectations for talent acquisition, enthusiastically jumping in to help clients work through any challenges that may crop up; all aided in no small degree by her sunny disposition and positive attitude. In her role as recruitment coordinator for the Pocketbook team, Elyssa has had the pleasure of combining many of her passions, not the least of which is her love of children, helping people with their specific goals and needs for talent acquisition, and when needed, problem-solving. When not matching clients with the perfect candidate, you can find Elyssa at Disneyland with her 3-year-old son, celebrating a birthday or anniversary with her extended family and friends, or collecting shells at the beach with her family.

Ashley Croneis, has a decade of Recruiting and Event Management experience, and has been in the hospitality and people industry her entire career. As an Administrative Assistant for The Pocketbook Agency, Ashley provides exceptional customer service to our candidates and works in conjunction with the team to keep the ball rolling behind the scenes. When outside of the office, you can find her in nature or creating and working on new projects. And most importantly, spending time with her son and husband!

Alexa Benudiz, is a Recruiting Coordinator at Pocketbook Agency. She is an LA native with a B.S. in Communication and Advertising and a minor in French Studies from Boston University. With experience in recruiting and account management, she possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and thrives in creative environments. Prior to joining Pocketbook, she worked as an Account Manager, where she built relationships with clients, recruited talent for various admin roles, and provided insight on market trends. She also worked at a sports and entertainment company where she managed C-suite executive speakers and guests, event timelines, budgets, and sponsorships. In her free time, you can find her taking a Pilates class, trying new restaurants, and playing outside with her golden retriever, Mila.
